Thank you for using LoiLoNote School. This release introduces major improvements to the internal workings of the app, resulting in greatly improved responsiveness and stability.

  • Drawn lines look cleaner even when the view is zoomed.
  • The first card in a connected group keeps its position after the the group is minimized.
  • Teachers can use built-in web-filtering to block access to designated areas of the web.
  • Listeners can instantly rewind playable media by 1 second.
  • Student submissions no longer trigger iOS notifications.
  • Any teacher participating in a subject can end Screen Sharing.
  • Locked screens are automatically unlocked after 15 minutes, preventing problems for forgetful teachers.
  • Cards on the desktop are shown with their true height-to-width ratio.

Whole-School File Sharing (Version 2.4)

You can now share files with the whole school.
Two new folders, “School Sharing Folder” and “Teachers Only Sharing Folder”, have been added to Materials. These folders can be used to share lesson materials within your school.

Students can also view the “School Sharing Folder”, so it can be used to send notifications to students and distribute homework questions, etc.

Students cannot view the “Teachers Only Sharing Folder”. It can be used to share answers to homework questions and ideas for lesson plans among teachers.

Both these folders can be accessed from any lesson.


Grant Limited Admin Rights to Teachers
 (Version 2.4)

You can now assign limited admin rights to teachers’ accounts, for example, to register enrollment lists or change settings.
Log into the School Admin account, click on edit teacher accounts and select admin rights.
Use this feature when the School Admin wants to delegate registration of enrollment lists, etc. to teachers.


New Method for Whole-Class Card Distribution (Version 2.3)

Previously, to distribute Cards to the whole class, they were dragged and dropped into the “All” Tunnel. However, from Version 2.3 the name of the Tunnel has been changed to “Send”.

Drag and drop the Cards you want to send into the “Send” icon.
Select “All” to send the Cards to everyone in the class.
Tap “Send” to display the “Timeline”, a sending history or list of all the items sent by the teacher.

Teachers Can Submit Answers to Tasks (Version 2.3)

Teachers can now submit answers to their own tasks. Use this function to provide a model answer for your students, or at staff meetings.


Students Can View List of Answers Screen
(Version 2.3)

Students can now view other students’ answers from the List of Answers Screen.
Use this feature when you want students to be able to refer to other students’ answers.

The default setting is off, meaning that students can only view their own answer.
Switch on the sharing answers function from the List of Answers screen to enable students to view all the answers on the List of Answers.


Students Can Save Cards in My Folder in Materials (Version 2.3)

Students can also now save Cards in My Folder, their own private folder in Materials. Cards saved to My Folder can be viewed and used from any Note, so it is ideal for saving Cards that are referred to regularly, e.g. list of difficult spelling words.


Easy Login (Version 2.2)

With Easy Login, students login by tapping on their grade, class and name rather than typing in their Student ID and password. Use this feature to save time at the start of class when shared tablets are used in multiple classes.

Teachers login by tapping on “Teacher Login” at the bottom right, entering their password and selecting their name.
